Zindagi Program

Zindagi is an Urdu word, which means “Life”: Under this program, Pak Women is working on women, children and persons with disabilities, minorities and transgender, health and hygiene, sanitation and water supply, protection of mother and child health,
and prevention of HIV/AIDS, prevention of maternal and newborn deaths through strengthening systems, citizen engagement, voice and evidence-based advocacy for reforms and legislation with key stakeholders on a sustainable basis. 

Pak Women Initiatives on Response to Climate Changes were started from 2021 and
included under its Zindagi program.

Pak Women Zindagi program is in line with The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of
Pakistan, relevant national laws, United Nations Instruments UDHR, CEDAW, UNFCCC
and UNCRPD.

Pak Women Zindagi Program work is contributing to the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Samiullah is a resident of district Orakzai and a differently-abled person who completed his graduation last year. The training gave Samiullah the motivation to raise awareness of inclusive NIC and Voter education in his district. He developed a strong sense of responsibility after attending the training and decided to register an organization named “Orakzai Special Persons Organization.” This organization would work for the rights of persons with disabilities, as well as raise awareness of the benefits provided by the Government of Pakistan for persons with disabilities.
